This curriculum was originally designed after looking over the topics for Ontario Ministry of Education for grade 1 social studies. It covers various topics about a child’s community and relationships (e.g. family tree, friends, responsibilities). Once again, the young student has the opportunity to colour the large “paper doll-like” community helpers because they were so much fun in Beginner Social Studies! But there are several different lessons in this book too.
Teaching notes plus reproducible activity pages, printed on cream toothy-like paper (great for crayons, pencils, markers, etc. and easier for little fingers to cut or fold). 56 pages, spiral-bound.
