Here is a list of some conferences for Spring 2023 –
March 25-27 and May 5-7 – Teach Them Diligently (USA) has two large spring homeschool conventions (both of which will be recorded for people who do not attend in-person and/or streamed online). The TTD365 membership has a discount of $30 with coupon code “JOY” (This is not an affiliate link.) With the membership, you get access to the audio/video library of 2000+ past conference sessions. And also there is a community group component for year-round conversations and monthly Zoom meet-ups. (Teach Them Diligently also provide in-person and virtual conferences occasionally during the rest of the year, not just in the spring.)

May 6 – The Homeschool Journey in Nova Scotia

June 2-3 – Home Educators of New Brunswick Conference (HENB)

Canada – Other upcoming homeschool conferences… Manitoba (MACHS) on March 24-25, Ontario (OCHEC) on May 5-6, Rideau Valley (Ottawa area) on May 13, Alberta (AHEA) on May 25-27. ACPEQ (Quebec, bilingual) usually has one in the spring, often also online (date to be announced). See the list at HSLDA Canada (click here).
Other Homeschool Special Events
Royal Botanical Gardens (not an affiliate) – After watching one of Karin’s sessions about insects in winter at a February conference, I asked her if there was a possibility of providing similar sessions on other topics for a less-than-classroom cost for homeschool families. The session on amphibians is a response to this and RBG is offering it FREE! (There were two dates of the same content; one is remaining.) These are designed for the kids (and “the teacher”, of course)! Register here.
