Description
This is a French discovery program for younger students with activities and songs. Mission ABC is in 4 levels (equaling 4 years of lessons if you use one workbook per grade or 2 years of lessons if you use 2 workbooks per grade). The Teacher’s Manual includes all 4 levels and offers activities, games, songs and review lessons. The workbooks have 40 pages/20 lessons each and every 10 lessons there is a small oral test. Mission ABC covers some vocabulary on the topics of Alphabet, Numbers, Shapes, Colours, Days of the Week, Months of the Year, Seasons, Food, Animals, Body Parts, Classroom Vocabulary, Prepositions, Family Words, Telling Time, Emotions, Weather, House Words, Clothing, Continents, Transportation, Buildings, Sports, Instruments, Pronouns, and verbs être and avoir. (It is NOT a prerequisite to Mission Monde French nor is it a substitute for it. It is simply a program for families wanting to introduce their children to FSL earlier than the junior grades. Mission Monde will repeat any necessary vocab/skills that exist in the ABC levels.)
The FULL PACKAGE includes one (1) teacher manual, one (1) link to the audio files in mp3 format online, and one each of the four (4) student workbooks.
The BASIC PACKAGE includes the link to the audio files in mp3 format online, one each of four (4) student workbooks but NO teacher’s manual. (We offer a basic package because the teacher’s manual is more of use in a class setting and at this younger age, we did not feel that it was as helpful for a homeschool mom unless she wanted to use group games or have some help with structuring lessons.)
We also sell extra student workbooks for Mission ABC – perfect for siblings! Because the French workbooks are consumable (to be written in, not reproducible), each student needs his or her own workbook. The set of FOUR EXTRA STUDENT WORKBOOKS includes one copy each of the ABC workbooks. (No teacher’s manual, no audio product.)
