Are you looking for something for an older toddler or child who is just starting to learn the ABC’s? This set of little “really basic” booklets helps a child to get ready to read and count by having something simple but meaningful for his or her “own school” time.
The reproducible student pages are seasonal in theme; children colour, cut/paste, and/or trace letters or numbers and can begin to read basic nouns of things that they might see in the real world around them.
In my opinion, the main value of this set is for the parent – within the helpful planning guide with outlines, charts, and ideas, and the booklets. (The booklets include a page of general teaching ideas for how to expand the booklet topics into more activities.)
