Four Year Rotation Planning Guide

This looonnnggg planner (tape it together to see the “big picture”) is our newest planner to be available to you. This one shows the best of how Peppermint Stick Learning Company is/will be arranging our curriculum AND it is the one we’ve personally been using in our large family!

Foldable Planner HS

The planner on the left was the main one we distributed years ago at the homeschool conference(s):

Tips for Evaluating Student Work

This set of tips (on the right) is provided especially for those of you who either desire or need some guidance in the area of evaluating homeschool work. Some customers have wanted to know how to mark projects or design tests and so this download was created for them. (Sometimes customers live in provinces where such evaluations are more important.)

Designing a Home Preschool for 2s and 3s

Designing a Home Preschool for 2s and 3s is simply some charted ideas which can help parents to have a meaningful preschool time for their littles. It is for those who are just wanting to begin some “school stuff” with their young children without having all of the ordinary school subjects, for those who want a “readiness” year or so before kindergarten. Upon request, I also made a few simple printable booklets for young children to accompany these ideas for moms who don’t want to put that sort of thing together themselves – that set is available in our shop here called Preparing for School Package.(It includes this same planner.)

LISTS – click on the top menu tab to see some helpful resource lists! There are:

  • Our recommended book lists for various age groups
  • A list mentioning good resources (curriculum, supplies) for each subject area, for grades K-12.
  • Bundles (coupon codes plus a layout of what PSLC titles fit into which learning level)
  • Types of Readers – an explanation of the different types of books called “readers”, especially useful for understanding primary-level education.

Year-at-a-Glance Planning Chart – This would be the “daily schedule” type of planning I would recommend to those of you who are starting out to homeschool a few children or are in situations which need a lot of flexibility. It is far easier than the traditional weekly or monthly plans that many moms try and I would still use it some years even as a “seasoned homeschool mom”! 🙂
