This is a very fun and practical resource, originally designed for a homeschooling families in Canada!
At this foundational level, My First Social Studies is designed to help young children to begin to learn how to be independent learners and to think about their role (present and future) in their homes and local communities.
Sometimes, a Christian perspective with Scripture verses is presented, such as in the character education section (although most pages in this social studies book could readily be used in a public or private classroom setting).
