Description
Follow the pathways of making letters. This curriculum is designed specifically for young children who are beginning at the pre-printing stage of making “lollipops, ice-cream cones, mud, and more”! Lessons continue to provide practice for children who are learning basic letter and number formation. There are shoulder, hand, and wrist exercises, hands-on activities with things like clothespins and towels, play dough, letter picture stories about cars, bees, and toboggans along with “rainbow printing”.
Easy to teach and fun (for the whole family)! This book, written for use in the JK/SK years can also be co-ordinated with Printing Lessons for Primaries for ease of multi-grade teaching.
Note: You will need wide-lined paper for this program, preferably a “red blue blue red” lined primary exercise book. Also highly recommended for the youngest beginners (JK) are “sentence strips” (which are wide lines in a single line only). (We may have some in clearance if you want to order from us directly instead of online. Each package is $6.50 and shipping will reflect actual cost since they are long in shape.)
Note: This title was updated and expanded in 2018 to an e-book version.
